Marlo Hartman is a FGASA professional field guide working in Sabie Sands Game Reserve and Idube Game Reserve. The camera goes where the work does, which is why these are not zoo frames or hide frames. They are what a guide sees on an ordinary working day in the bush.
What started as documenting sightings has become a body of work followed by more than 19,000 people. This is where that work finally lives somewhere he owns, and where you can buy it.
Two separate protections, both taken seriously here. Copyright protects the photographs. POPIA protects the people who buy them.
Every photograph on this site remains the exclusive property of Marlo Hartman. Buying a print or puzzle buys the object, never the rights to the image.
This site complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act. Only what is needed to fulfil an order is collected, and it is never sold or shared for marketing.
Who processes your information. Registered business name and address to be confirmed, contactable at [email protected].
What is collected and why. Name, contact details and delivery address, collected solely to process and deliver your order and to contact you about it. Payment information is processed directly by the payment provider and is never stored on this site.
How long it is kept. Order records are kept only as long as required for tax and consumer-protection purposes, then deleted.
Your rights. Under POPIA you may request access to the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Licensing enquiries. Commercial and editorial licensing is available by arrangement. Get in touch.
Draft wording prepared for this demo. Before going live these sections should be completed with Marlo's registered details and reviewed by someone qualified, so the POPIA notice and terms are enforceable rather than decorative.
For orders, commissions or licensing enquiries, send a message. Ordering moves to on-site card checkout once the range is finalised.
