Marlo Hartman is a FGASA Professional Field Guide working in South Africa’s world-renowned Sabi Sand and Idube Game Reserves. His camera goes where his work takes him, capturing authentic wildlife encounters as they unfold in the African bush.
No photographs are taken in animal enclosures or from hides. Every image represents what a field guide experiences during an ordinary day in the wild, moments that are real, unscripted, and untouched.
What began as a way to document wildlife sightings has evolved into a celebrated body of work followed by more than 19,000 nature enthusiasts. Through this collection, Marlo shares the beauty, drama, and intimacy of Africa’s wildlife with audiences around the world.
